Are you qualified?
I am a qualified Coach with Animas Centre for Coaching in London. I underwent a year-long training course whereby I had to complete three written assessments, 40 hours of practice coaching, and submit a recorded coaching session to be approved by the board, along with in-person 2 day training weekends over 5 months. My coaching qualification covered Mindfullness, NLP & CBT. I have also worked many jobs where coaching came into play such as Mentoring children affected by gun violence, a Careers Adviser for some of the most vulnerable in society, and more.
What is Coaching?
Coaching helps you to make a transformation in an area of your life. It helps bridge the gap between where you are now, and where you would like to be. Sometimes it is hard to make lifelong changes on your own without any support.
You read as many self-help books as you can and vow to make changes in life, but they never stick, why is that?
Well, patterns of behaviour, stories we tell ourselves, and beliefs we have are all deeply ingrained in our unconscious. It takes repetitive behaviour, mental exercises, and honest conversations to really help you break out of unhealthy habits or beliefs.
That is where coaching comes in. I hold a space for you to explore yourself and offer you guidance and resources along the way to help with the process.
What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
A coach works with clients who want to achieve a specific goal, they work with a client helping them steer towards the goal and have an action-based approach as well as using talking therapies.
A counsellor uses past experiences to help understand current trauma and behaviours. It offers more of a listening approach rather than an action-based.
What is the cancellation policy?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy otherwise a session will be forfeited unless there are extenuating circumstances

What kind of coach are you?
Well I am an honest talking woman who may not be for everyone. I will support you but if I notice that you are telling yourself a story such as, ''I'm going to fail'' I will call you out on it. It is important that we are made aware of our behaviour patterns so that we can start to become self-aware and move forward.
Is this the right coaching for me?
